Since the wattages in the chart represent the highest possible (peak) watts per unit, keeping the volume level down on the amplifier will help reduce overheating of the ButtKicker transducer(s). ** Warning: Double asterisks represent configurations where the potential watts per unit is far greater than the recommended power maximum for the ButtKicker transducer(s). Volume levels will need to be kept extremely low in order to reduce overheating. † Little or Insufficient Power: Wattages with daggers indicate configurations that will cause each of the ButtKicker transducers to operate at less than the recommended amount of power. In some cases the amount is still substantial enough for use and in those cases a wiring diagram will be available. If a configuration results in a potential watts per unit that is too low for operation, the cell and text are faded out and no wiring diagram is available. |
